Taken at dawn on my first trip out after lockdown restrictions were relaxed in May 2020.
A photograhic colleague and I arrived in separate cars to respect the social distancing guidelines at 3.30am at a point on Stanage Edge known as Dennis Knoll.
We found ourselves, in the Blue Hour, totally alone with no other people around and the silence was spooky.
There was mist in the valley below me and in the image, you can see the bluey-grey mist rolling over the moors near to the edge of Stanage Edge in the distant. |
